Never leave a candle unattended … keep it one foot away from combustibles and don't place it near windows or doorways where drafts can occur. Of course keep candles away from any sort of flammable liquids.

These candles unattended are like a loaded gun on a dining room table. If you can't see the candle, it shouldn't be lit.
