[New Orleans] is too congested and we witnessed too much crime there. I've witnessed people just taking things — this was before and after the hurricane. It's more peaceful here. People are friendlier. It's less crowded than in Houston. I like the open space.

It's not fit for humans to be living in those conditions. They turned the water off. People were going to the bathroom on the floor. Kids were going to the bathroom on the floor. You could smell it in the hallways, all over. There was a lot of violence taking place in there — stealing and drugs.

People should be allowed to document evidence of criminal wrongdoing. Where is the expectation of privacy if someone is conspiring to commit crime?

I also plan to volunteer for the Red Cross — to give back what they gave to me.
