New Years Resolutions are made by people more impressed with the date than the goal~

I will not fall for any of the following: alcoholics, workaholics, commitment phobics, people with girlfriends or wives, misogynists, megalomanics, chauvists, emotional fuckwits or freeloaders, perverts.

New Year's Day - Now is the accepted time to make your regular annual good resolutions. Next week you can begin paving hell with them as usual.

First solution to a new year's resolution is to make it an every day resolution. I say this because a new year's resolution only happens once a year, one day after you make that resolve, then you do it again next year. If you make a resolve everyday, there won't be a need for a new year's resolution.
