Nick is one of the top-ranked sprinters in the area and is also capable of competing on the state level. He's performed well in our preseason scrimmages and we look for him to have a good season as well.

Greenfield is currently ranked 10th in the area, but we made them look like state champs. With a few exceptions, we just did not execute well and continued to violate some of the basic rules of wresting.

I just beat the 12th ranked kid in the state. I watched Hoffman wrestle at Top Gun and Brecksville and I thought I could beat him if I wrestled to my ability. I haven't looked at the district bracket yet, but I am hoping to go to state.

USC and Oklahoma are ranked in the top two because they have not taken essentially one-third of the season off, as Auburn has, ... The Tigers have played I-AA Citadel, Louisiana-Monroe, Kentucky and Mississippi State. Between them, Oklahoma and USC have played only three teams as bad as these.

Obviously they are a very good club. They are nationally ranked and have one the top two or three pitchers in the country.

We didn't play real well, we played hard, but to beat a team ranked ninth in the state and one that has won seven in a row, we have to take care of things better.
