(No. 14) is a hard hole. They played the back tee all four days for the first time last year, and that makes a huge difference. Hitting a 5-iron into that small green is difficult.

It was very cold. Fortunately I had that downhill par 5. If there's a hole you want to tee off on when you're real cold, it's that one.

On the 17th hole, my palms were sweating and when I hit the tee shot (with a four iron), I knew it was headed into the water. I was driving it good, hitting my irons good and putting well. It was easy birdies all the way.

They were told to play every hole hard starting with the first one. Some played 12 or 13 holes, but everyone played 11 so we had to use that.

I was disappointed in my tee shot because it was into the wind and when I started the first hole, the wind was blowing really hard and I tried to hit it hard. I think I was rushing my play. After the third, I tried to slow down and find my rhythm.
