No, there is no guarantee, but there is somewhere between that and just throwing up your hands and there is nothing I can do. Rather than pointing fingers, we need to change the culture of the town.

I think parents need to make that phone call and find out if your kid is really where they say they are and if a parent is home. We do have parents who say 'what I do is not your business,' but my reaction to that always is, but if my kid is at your house, it is my business.

We don't know if it's because more people and parents are aware and less are in denial or if things have gotten worse. We're hoping that's not the case.

We have 17 restaurants that come in and we set up tables; and the restaurants bring deserts and hors d'oeuvres and people go around and sample what they have.

There are going to be 26 tables this year because some business are brining both deserts and hors d'oeuvres.

The money helps support the Building Bridges Foundation, camps and after-school programs.
