Nobody ever tries to be third or fourth [on the depth chart]. You try to be third or fourth, you're already a loser. If you ask me, every time I'm out there I'm trying to take the No. 1 position.

T.O. was behind Jerry Rice at least four years and nobody ever heard of him. You never know what can happen. They laugh now; cry later. It's all good.

He's brought a sense of discipline to that program that it really needed. The people around him believe in him and what he's doing, and that's very important. They're building something really good down there, and I'm proud of what they've done.

You see a big change in the attitude there. You see more and more guys staying around in the summer and working out together. You see more and more of them in the weight room, paying the price to be better. And they're seeing the rewards that hard work brings to them.

T.O? He's a great dude, man. He has the best marketing strategy in the National Football League. Hey, you can't know the boy, man. It doesn't last that long.

I know a few plays here and there. They have a couple plays for me. I know those. But my main contribution probably will be on special teams.
