Nobody is being turned away. If people can't be treated here by us, we transfer them to a facility that can.

There were transportation systems in place to take people out of New Orleans, which was the preferred solution.

Obviously, we want to ensure that people who have evacuated are still having their health care needs met, and the best way to do that is for them to get on insurance in the state where they are residing or where they intend to reside.

We don't want people to feel sorry for us. It was an unfortunate event that has forever changed our lives and has taught us to never take things for granted.
