Nobody wants to see a two-run homer, ... But I do like the way he handled himself. That's a lot to ask of this kid, but we're trying to have more weapons. And he's got a lot of them. He just didn't get the ball in far enough.

I think he's handled the situation well. When you're a Rule 5 guy, it's almost to the veteran players like you're on scholarship. Sometimes I think that gets resented a little bit. He's handling himself real well. He was quiet when he first came up, kind of paid the respect to the veterans and then kind of slowly but surely kind of started showing his personality -- he's done a good job with that.

He said about the fourth inning, all the sudden it clicked with his fastball command. I'll bet having the run support had something to do with that because he had some room for error. He could go out and be aggressive.

It's hard to be a clubhouse guy without being a great guy. I mean, the nature of the job is, you know, you're picking up dirty clothes and you're doing all the tasks that the players - that nobody else wants to do.
