Nobody will be homeless here, that's for sure.

One of our Japanese students was planning on going home to Japan for spring beak, but his passport was destroyed in the fire. We were able to work with the Japanese government to get him to fly home, but they weren't sure if he would be able to get a visa in time to return, so he has decided to stay in Rhode Island.

Right now, we're assessing the needs of the students. Fortunately, they're on spring break right now, so we have the next week to really come up with an alternate plan for the rest of the semester.

The alarm sounded simultaneously in the building and at the fire station, as well as at our security office. And I have to say, we're very proud of the way the students reacted. We do drills a lot, we do fire safety constantly and we're reinforcing that all the time. They did a really good job to get out of the building, to get themselves together and to look out for each other. All of the systems worked the way they should have and nobody was hurt.

It'll be tough, it's always been a blowout. Hopefully this will be our best showing against them. We're senior heavy and a lot are stepping up.

It's too early to say whether this will start a trend that will break down some of these windows.
