None of us knew what to expect but there was absolutely no pressure. It was incredibly fun and easy going.

I think the break was more about each of us having a chance to explore some other stuff we wanted to do artistically.

The timing was really good. We all have tons of songs but we wanted to begin from scratch so we got together and started jamming. We did two two-week sessions where we jammed out and got the skeletons for pretty much all the songs.

This is definitely uncharted territory for me. But it has been so much fun. I was very steady today and very confident in what I could do. This week feels very much the same as the week at last year's Mid-Amateur. I'm confident in everything I'm doing.

Mary scored some goals for us last year and we'll need her to do the same this year.
