Not only are we impacting our community through impact teams and ministry, but now we can use this as a way to impact.

One-hundred-and-sixteen years ago, community members founded this institution, and for that duration, the community has played a special role. Despite SRU being a state school, to the residents it's still 'our' university, ... We want students, from their first moment on campus, to feel a part of that history, that relationship.

One of the projects we're working on right now is increasing the capacity for the Bay Area's community colleges to meet the needs of the Bay Area life sciences industry.

What people say behind your back is your standing in the community in which you live

As tough as these consequences are, we will not back down from that. We love the students. We want them to learn these are dangerous issues they are involving themselves in.

We have unfortunately had 33 students that have had to withdraw from school [this semester]. That is an issue we want people to understand we will deal with it and we want people to stay away from it.
