Policemen almost got hit, other people almost got hit.

The problem we're having is that other towns are also asking for additional support as well. It's tough to get them.

If the bargain is that you are going to get lower property taxes but higher sales taxes, that is no bargain at all for the folks making less than $100,000. They are going to end up with more of a tax burden than they had before.

Our main concern is to not trade in lowering property taxes for an increase in sales taxes.
