Now we've found out the city arrested her under an unconstitutional ordinance.

We should remove the documentation from where she was arrested because it was unconstitutional.

Part of this was my personal umbrage that the zoning ordinance was being ignored. [Secondly] I think Union City has had the opportunity of a lifetime in the last few years to redevelop in a constructive way, and I think we have squandered that opportunity.

The city of Harlingen has an ordinance. You can't have them in your possession; you can't discharge them. That's illegal. The police can confiscate them and issue citations up to $200.

Obviously I was disappointed the City Council didn't enact (the El Paso ordinance). We came close. We came very close.

It sounds as though the city is really pitching in in support of the ordinance that the council passed to address this problem,
