Now we've got our back against the wall. Hats off to Miller Place ? they played without a full group and really took it to us. We've got three games left and we've got to go at all three hard.

Katie Ferris [who had 26 points] played her best game of the year. Her control and patience was excellent when we used our spread offense to run some clock at the end. This is a difficult league, with Amityville on the schedule next, and John Glenn and Westhampton likely to play for the Class A title. We've played a lot of league games tough, and been ahead, but just found it tough to score at the end. Not today.

Hats off to Apple Valley. They played excellent.

We were going down and Duncan killed the first extra end and we played the next one and managed to win it.

There are some real critical decisions we're going to make in that group. So we played them a lot. And hopefully the film will tell us what we need to know so we make good decisions.

Hats off to Taft, they played hard. They tried. They never gave up. The coaches at Taft are doing a nice job of keeping those kids squared away.
