Number two, our offense is keeping away the ball a lot more, giving less pressure to our defense.

The first thing we had to do was settle down a little bit. We got a little nervous in the first half.

The defense isn't giving up a lot of points, but teams are getting a lot of yards. We'll have to go back and look at what we're doing and try to correct some of those things.

We need to be more consistent on defense. We're still giving up too many big plays.

Nothing is more discouraging than facing a tough defense and then giving up a quick score. I was definitely pleased with our defense.

We didn't get the job done on defense and that was my responsibility. I commend the players for giving great effort and I appreciate the coaches who continued to work. One thing I thought was evident was this group refused to quit.
