Numerous plants will be shut down, thousands of workers will lose their jobs and communities will be devastated.

Employers should encourage workers to take breaks throughout the day ... overqualified employees will get bored in their jobs much quicker than those who find their work more challenging.

We can create many local jobs if all retailers were to take advantage of local capacity. We have willing workers and idle industrial capacity.

Laying-off permanent workers is so difficult and costly that companies have a strong preference for temp jobs, even if it is at the expense of productivity. When labor protection has become excessive and unaffordable, as it is in France, labor market institutions must be reformed.

We obviously need the workers for a lot of jobs.

That is an insult to transit workers and an insult to every person in this city who depends on our bus and subway system.
