Obviously it was very disappointing and frustrating. We understand the opportunity that we had to get (in the playoffs). There's nothing we can do now but go out and try to go 10-6.

We had a great opportunity and we missed it.

I think people realize that we had a good opportunity and we failed to seize that opportunity. So now lets just go out and get a win and enjoy ourselves and have fun.

I am very excited about the opportunity to become a head coach, and it's even more special to have this opportunity at my alma mater. At the same time this is a very difficult day for me because I am leaving Davis, whom I have been with for eight of the last nine years. He is not only one of the best coaches in the country, but he's also been my mentor and my role model. He is the reason I am the coach and the person I am today.

It was good to sit there and ask them questions about the stuff that they are doing and what we are doing and about their school as well. We do the exact same thing you guys are doing in this program, just on a larger scale.

It's real life. It's interesting to see the guts, not just the finished product but what goes in and out.
