Oftentimes I think movies that come into the limelight through significant Academy Award nominations get a little better play in their current window, and most often that's a theatrical (box office) number. If the movie wins, it's got a bump up in revenue and a higher video profile.

Tier one talent usually has a participation in the film's revenue streams, whether it's the gross revenue or net revenue. But top-tier talent is more likely to be participating and that also tends to be part of the cost equation.

That's millions of dollars in additional expense, but it may be offset with a win.

Management makes a very impressive presentation of taking this company and building what is arguably the last pure-play franchise in the filmed entertainment business. Certainly the chairman of the firm has a history of turning companies around, and there's no reason to think he won't do that here too.

It would be a huge boost to (PSP movies) if we can arrange for the disc to play on TV players.
