Oh, my God! My wife and I, boy, we got down that night. On a personal note!

When I'm writing a song, it's just me and the songwriters. Then when the song is done, there are publishers that hear it, then people in my management, then my wife and my boys and my friends, and if they're all lovin' it, it's kind of withstanding all the criticism I need.

With my plays, when the lights go down, at least the audience isn't thinking, 'Oh, God, two more hours of this.'

You see your peers weighing 80 pounds and you think, 'Oh, my God, I've got to be 80 pounds or I'll fail.'

For me, on a personal note, it was really tough to see both Adam and Peter go. I'm really going to miss them.

I go gladly to my wife and boy, and I leave this world at peace with every one in it and at peace with God.
