But the blind man in Apartment 1-A is blind in many ways, as are all human beings, even those with functioning eyes. They are blind to their folly, to their ignorance, to their history, to the future that they will make for themselves. A future born of self-loathing.

Pride, envy, greed, wrath, lust, sloth, gluttony. These are the truths, the malefic truths of mankind ever since we gained intelligence. Despite this, we run away desperately searching for a false truth. We convince ourselves of some kind of evil that is responsible for suffering, but the truth is we are the ones to blame for denying the truth that is in front of us. Only once when we wake up from this illusion and work towards a better future can we reach the new world.

We strive to be as virtuous as possible, but the truth is that any virtue can be malformed into a greater sin. The opposite is also true.

My ideal date would involve painful silence. My ideal date wouldn't involve me.

The people we see as evil usually have stronger morals and convictions than us.
