On a year like this, we have enough snow to ski until June, but it's a matter of interests. My theory is, when the lawn mowers come out, it's over.

As I came down hill my ski hit patch of ice on top of snow, and my foot came out from under me and I fell forward ... I crushed my C5 vertebrae.

When there's no snow in town, it's harder to get people here. But the people coming out to the ski area are really surprised at how much snow we have out here. It looks like winter when you get to Mount La Crosse.
