Neither the United States of America nor the world community of nations can toleratedeliberate deception and offensive threats on the part of any nation large or small. We nolonger live in a world where the actual firing of weapons represents a sufficient challenge toa nation's security to constitute maximum peril.

I think we're glazing eyes all across America.

We think it's important that America understand the strength it has in the arts as well as the sciences. We have to show the rest of the world that this is a civilization of great attainments and great accomplishments. And you see that here tonight.
