Once he gets into basketball shape, he'll help us a lot and give us some strong post play. He's a presence inside.

Because, according to him, (hockey) was a white man's game and I should be playing basketball because I was the second-tallest person in our high school.

It was difficult because I wanted to play and I deserved to play, I felt. But it was the coach's decision.

We just want to play great basketball. We still have work to do, but this is a fun team to coach.

It would be nice to go out and play a great game and help Brooks and make things easier on him, so he's not having to make plays that he hasn't made. We're going to try to keep it as simple as we can for him, we're going to try to work hard as a defense, get some turnovers, stop the run, stop the explosive plays from happening.

It was a good experience. We learned a lot as a basketball team. It's definitely going to help us.
