One test should not govern how students are judged or how teachers are judged. This will not benefit education.

Teachers have the right to determine what is professional and appropriate attire. And anyone who supports that right should wear (a pin).

The chief wonder of education is that it does not ruin everybody concerned in it, teachers and taught.

The very best teachers do not teach their students - they enchant them with the wonder of learning that will last a lifetime.

Tonight we are thrilled to tell you that the teachers' strike is coming to an end and that students will be in school tomorrow.

If we can create teachers from our own students from this generation, we will be set for the next generation.
