One who walks in harmony with the Will of the True Guru, obtains the greatest glory. The Exalted Name of the Lord abides in his mind, and no one can take it away.

Whatever is in harmony with His Will, he accepts as True; the noose of Death is loosened from around his neck

I offer my mind and body, and I renounce my selfishness and conceit; I walk in Harmony with the Will of the True Guru. I am forever a sacrifice to my Guru, who has attached my consciousness to the Lord.

Give me the Lord as my wedding gown, and the Lord as my glory, to accomplish my works. Through devotional worship to the Lord, this ceremony is made blissful and beautiful; the Guru, the True Guru, has given this gift.

All strict rituals are just clever contrivances. My God knows everything. He has made His Glory manifest, and all people celebrate Him.

As he submits to God's Will, and surrenders to the Creator, he is rid of selfishness and conceit. And when, O Nanak, he is merciful to all beings, only then shall he be called a Muslim.
