Our biggest task was from '97 through '98, when I changed my swing to where it's at now. After that, it was basically kind of maintenance. I've been doing that the last two years a lot on my own.

That's the biggest difference, that I'm hitting it so much farther and harder. My putting is just as good, but it's been sporadic this year, which is interesting. I normally don't putt that way. This year is one of those weird years where I either putt great or I don't putt well at all.

I didn't hit the ball very close and when I did, I did make a couple of putts, but other than that, I was 30, 40 feet just about every hole.

The Nelson was more disappointing because I bogeyed the last hole when I had the cut in hand.

He drives it great, hits his irons really well. When he gets that putter rolling, he can really put up some good numbers.

When we were taking the carts back to the tee, ... I couldn't hear anything. In my left ear, I'm half deaf, people whistling and screaming, and then my right ear, I'm half deaf. It was electric, it was loud, people were really into it. J. D. brings huge galleries everywhere he goes.
