Our club is very united in these fund-raising projects. We do a golf scramble early in the spring to raise money as well. It has been about 14 or 15 years we have put on a nice golf scramble. That money goes to scholarships for students.

I think it's going to be problematic if we cancel those projects because we are under contract. Some of the money is sunk cost that can't be recovered in any other way than through a rate increase to all property owners.

Skills are one of the largest impediments to BI [projects].

Our process was geared for a much smaller volume of projects.

It's a great golf course, perfect for the Public Links. I think it's going to prove to be a tough test for our golfers.

I generally don't ask our guys how they're doing while they're on the golf course, but I can usually tell by their body language. I knew yesterday that we were playing well. We got through 14 holes (Monday) before the rain came and went, then we figured out last night that we were 1-under par as a team.
