Our coaches did a great job designing a defense that took away some of the things they like to do and some of the people they like to go to.

The defense is the heart of our team. The defense has carried us in practice. When things aren't going well, they're the ones who pick us up.

They played zone defense, and we had to adjust to that. We didn't know what to expect.

We've got to quit shooting ourselves in the foot. Defense did an excellent job allowing only 76 yards of offense, and that's our bright spot of the night.

Our pitching and defense are really solid. Our hitting could be a little better. Generating more offense up and down the lineup is what we?re really trying to work on.
