Our competition is so tough at the sectional meet, I felt pressure just to reach state. People were talking about repeating, and I was just worried about getting there.

It was really tight. There was great competition and people really wanted it.

All you have to do is start talking about it in terms of what is happening to people in their pockets.

Much of what people have been talking about hasn't happened.

I never tell the girls; they didn't know, especially after the vault we had. Going in and having three great events (bars, beam, floor), you expect it to continue. It was shocking when it didn't. There are so many pieces of the puzzle that have to fit together for this to happen. I'm sad to see the season end, then again, I'm glad it's over.

She has grown so much. There is so much talent in that body that high school gymnastics has brought out. She is trying to carve herself a place in the gymnastics world, and right now she's on fire.
