Our defense is what really got us going. When we get stops, we were able to execute on offense. That's how you build leads. Milan has been working like that all year and it was nice to see it pay off.

The first half was us putting pressure on them. They were committed on defense, though. In the second half they opened up, which allowed our ball work to get through and get shots on goal.

Their defense really frustrated us a lot of times, and they were really active. It's very uncharacteristic of him to act like that and it's something I don't condone, and he knows it as well as I do, and he'll pay for it tomorrow at practice. That's a credit to their defense, because they really had us frustrated.

We won all three phases of the game —offense, defense and special teams.

Their offense is much better than their defense. We didn't want to let them in our zone. Our best defense was a good offense. We turned their 'D' and made it work hard. They weren't getting out of their zone very easily.

Everybody knows me for my defense, so I just kept focused.
