Our expectations are that on Christmas day the court will just have a hearing. But it may hold another session in the next few days and issue a final verdict.

We think that in the economy, the joint use of these military facilities will lead to an increase in the confidence in our country on behalf of investors and improve the general investment climate in our country.

Our position has not changed. Bulgaria is not going to participate with financial contributions to this fund. We are not going to pay any compensation, because our medics are innocent.

We expect this agreement for joint training and joint use of existing military facilities in Bulgaria together with the American armed forces to increase the capacities of the Bulgarian Army.

For Bulgaria, this case closed with the court decision in Rome in March 1986.

This decision gives a new chance to obtain what all Bulgarians wish for.
