Our guys just stepped up and hit some free throws at the end. We've been so close so many times, it was good to see us finally pull one out.

It's a situation where we'll have to play very well just to stay in the game. There's a reason why Union is ranked so high. They're very, very good.

That's a good question. I guess we'll figure that out if we can win one of these games. Our guys are doing a nice job of getting on the court and competing against anybody, but these will be very tough games.

This past week was a really tough, as basketball practice goes from 4-6 p.m. then on to play practice from 6-10 p.m.. There's not too much else to do.

I'm getting used to the guys on the team, and it is just fun playing ball with them.

I'd love for there to be a situation - a world in which that's just not even a question anymore. We are all filmmakers - different stripes, genders, sexual orientations, colors - and our work can be taken on its own terms. I'm really looking forward to that day.
