Our hitting was slacking. Today we picked it up. I'm proud of the kids. I've been barking at the kids all week and tonight they proved they could hit.

We just crowned three all-Americans today. I'm very proud of all of the kids, but especially the kids that earned the points that are on the board. I'm proud of these kids, and I'm proud of their coaches. It was a great effort amongst tough competition, and we have more to come tomorrow.

Weston's been drawing walks, but he hasn't been hitting the way he can. Today, he got back to hitting line drives.

I'm so proud of these kids. This is a dream come true for them and the culmination of a lot of hard work. It was a total team effort from top to bottom and I couldn't be prouder.

There's a first time for everything. Today we couldn't take our chances.

You don't see many first 45 minutes of a game like you did today. We gave away two daft goals at the start of the second half but then woke up again.
