Our hope is that Albertans will send at least one New Democrat to Ottawa and we've identified the one seat that actually has a chance of going some way other than Tory.

Which means that waiting lists will get longer in the public system, and this is not just hypothetical. The idea was tried by Margaret Thatcher in Britain back in the '80s and early '90s. It was a disaster.

We hope that everyone involved will understand that this change is being made in response to the critical situation in the Middle East and will help us make these changes work.
