Our hope is that we will see a net increase in projects. The needs in our three-county region (Lake, Porter and LaPorte counties) far outstrip the means.

What I hope will not change is the understanding that news needs to serve the public interest as its primary goal. That is its greatest calling, to keep freedom and independence alive, and keep it honest.

The house projects are all about neighborhoods taking control of their own destinies. The residents decide what they need and how they want to get it. We provide the resource and technical assistance to make it happen.

I think everyone in the Imperial Valley needs to be vigilant and watch for these projects that do not benefit the Valley.

It just gives us hope that he will get out of that bed and make it home.

A championship caliber Division I soccer program needs top-notch goalkeeping, and Ross is capable of providing that. He will provide great competition for the goalkeeping position. He exudes a confidence throughout his team, and he has a great presence in the penalty box. Ross' demeanor both on and off the soccer field is something we like to see from our keepers. Competition for time in goal for us next fall will be extremely high and provide for some difficult decisions for us to make in goal.
