Our kids could've easily rolled over and quit against a team of that caliber. But we never gave up and fought hard.

I saw a lot more try in them. I took six kids to this tournament and everybody had at least one win. It was a good event for everybody.

The kids came through with a couple upsets. They peaked at the right time.

Even though it was a (junior varsity) event it was pretty tough. We started off very slow in the morning. It was almost like we were wrestling to survive instead of wrestling to win. But in the afternoon, everybody wrestled hard.

Everybody felt good. We wrestled well and it was pretty exciting to win.

Everything clicked for us this weekend. We had a real focused tournament. Being as young as we are, we were not intimidated.
