Our kids were flying to the football. They were doing some great things. Our defense stepped up when they had to and made some great plays.

We came out strong, and our second group played well also. We had a lot of kids who made plays.

Their defense had 11 Afro-American kids on their team and they were a very, very good defensive football team. It just seems to me that Afro-American kids can run very, very well.

So far I think we've got after it this year. I think we've been flying around the football. I think our defense is pretty fast for the most part. We like to hit people and we've been doing that pretty well this year.

He's always flying around, making some nice hits, and the other kids have responded to that.

The team overall has played well defensively. This isn't football where your defense and offense are out there at different times. It takes a whole team effort, and we have been very pleased with their effort.
