Our kids were really down after the game, but I told them this is just the beginning of the fun part. We're not turning in our uniforms tomorrow. We have a lot of basketball to play.

It's a fun deal for our kids. It's one of our fund-raisers that we do. We'll present the varsity kids with their jerseys, and try to introduce all the kids and give them recognition. It kind of gets your season going a little bit.

That was a fun environment. It had to be a huge difference for us. The kids ... used that energy to try to ratchet up our intensity to keep our focus.

It's a great place to get started, to have some fun at the beginning of the year. It gets your juices flowing for the rest of the season.

From the beginning of the year we were concerned with their cohesiveness as a team. It's fun to see how they love being with one another. ... We have a lot of great individuals that have come together and made it more of a focus on the team and less on the individual.
