Our mistakes don't make or break us - if we're lucky, they simply reveal who we really are, what we're really made of.

Some of the most important people in my life would be shocked to learn that they were role models. They weren't celebrities, or even particularly accomplished. But they had some quality that I admired, that made me want to be like them.

This is a case where two controllers made mistakes and now they're trying to blame the FAA.

They need to slow down and give us time to give input.

Everybody does stupid things in life. Some of us more than others. You think you're going to get away with it. Or one or both of you just stop thinking. But it happens. And when it does, you can keep drinking it like poison, or you can put it behind you and go make the most of the rest of your life.

We all mess up. It's what we learn from our mistakes that matters.
