Our paper — actually the community's paper — will cover eight years of local history each month using headlines and pictures from community archives.

Each month we'll sum up the years. For those who are math-challenged, the 12 monthly issues will add up to 96 years. We'll catch the four years on special times.

The reporting staff of the paper will fill the monthly page. We feel people will want to save the series of Coalinga's history according to the newspaper. Where else can you find 100 years of history in a 12-page keepsake?

It all pointed to history ... either repeating itself, or trying to learn from history.

I think Brandon, given a few years, will be very busy. I can't even begin to tell you. Our schedule is already 100 percent full for speech. We already have a waiting list.

They will probably have to make some estimations.
