First of all, no one can bypass the Palestinian people and their choice of their leader.

We have no other alternative. And in spite of all the difficulties we are facing, we have one alternative: to carry on with the peace process. This is our strategic target.

We should not be blamed for facing the Israeli aggression on our people, our towns and our refugee camps and defending our people,

the Lebanese people have the right to defend their land.

Our people will remain steadfast until a boy or a girl holds the flag of Palestine over Jerusalem, the capital of our Palestinian state,
