Our projected deficit for the June 30, 2007, school year is $2.3-million.

We are at a critical juncture in Westerville. We are within two years of state control.

All we're doing is leaving ourselves open to options that we can use as scenarios.

Our community must protect basic education for its children. Today, our schools can still deliver a quality product. But with more than $15-million in tough cuts already made and more coming, that quality is at risk. To protect education, and the investment we have made in our homes and in our community, we need to pass our issue in May.

I was doing everything imaginable with school and clubs, but I wasn't sleeping or eating.

We just wanted to do something for the school.
