Our sin is great but Gods grace is greater!

GOD IS EVERYTHING WE EVER NEEDED

He is the arm that holds us up at our lowest point
He is the ear that hears our bleating cry
He is the eye that sees us at our darkest hour
He is a friend that always there at the times of isolation
He is the wing that protects us from bullet after bullet of life
He is the heart that loves us dearly in the midst of our messy lives. He is kind, loving, gracious and forgiving because He is the Holy God.

Joy blossoms in our hearts not as we try harder and harder to grow, but as we see more clearly the depth of our sin and understand more fully our helplessness.

Only those who are truly aware of their sin can truly cherish grace.

The church is a hospital for sinners, not a museum for saints.

I sometimes wonder if God calls us into the church because it represents not the people of God at their best but us at our worst. I wonder if he calls us to become embedded in this wretched institution precisely because it is wretched. And calls us to be a part of it not to reform it or save it or control it in any way, but to simply love it.
