Our son is a first respondor and had to stay back in New Orleans and do search and rescue,

They were playing Lil' Wayne [a popular New Orleans hip-hop artist] on the radio when we drove into town, ... They are treating us better than our own people.

The fish don't know to stay away from New Orleans.

We walked this entire Ninth Ward for search and rescue. It looks different [now]. This is what the first guys saw. It's come full circle.

While the Polaris vehicle could be useful in search and rescue missions, we are mindful of the fact that some might misinterpret acceptance of the vehicle as a tacit endorsement of smokeless tobacco products. That was never our intent. However, we concluded that it was best to remove all questions by withdrawing the request.

We also have to provide services to the emergency personnel who are working the search and rescue. It's an amazing operation right now, and no one organization is doing it by itself. We are all pulling together to try and help each other due to the sheer mass of the storm and damage done.
