Our understanding of the human brain can be dramatically accelerated if we collect and share research data on an exponentially wider scale.

The human brain is very odd indeed. It easy to understand something perfectly then to do something perfectly. And yet, as it seems, we'll never comprehend each other.

In a way, science might be described as paranoid thinking applied to Nature: we are looking for natural conspiracies, for connections among apparently disparate data. Our objective is to abstract patterns from Nature (right-hemisphere thinking), but many proposed patterns do not in fact correspond to the
data. Thus all proposed patterns must be subjected to the sieve of critical analysis (left-hemisphere thinking).

The human brain is an incredible pattern-matching machine.

Surprisingly, the gigantic capacity of storage with the human brain is not utilized for a fraction of a percent of its capacity! None within the purview of human knowledge is known to be inactive than the human brain!

A meticulous virtual copy of the human brain would enable basic research on brain cells and circuits or computer-based drug trials.
