Our vision for the airport is that it will remain primarily a general aviation facility with some commercial passenger activity. Its role will not change.

Extending emissions trading to the aviation sector will limit these emissions and ensure that aviation, like all other sectors, contribute to reducing the harmful greenhouse gases. Through emission trading, airlines will be able to do so at the least possible costs.

General aviation is growing. They're starting to move away from big hubs. There will be changes in air service, more contact with air taxis. We want to be on the cutting edge. We think what Bob will accomplish that.

The ministers will be expected to take a strong stand on the enforcement of aviation safety at all levels.

We have reached an agreement with the county that makes good business sense. It will allow the Cradle of Aviation to move forward and improve its operations. There is still a lot of work to do to make the Cradle all it can and should be.

We want to complete the greater Tokyo area's aviation setup. This will help us move toward that goal and provide economic benefits,
