Passive fatalism can never be the role of a revolutionary party, like the Social Democracy.

Social democracy does not represent an ideal future; it does not even represent the ideal past.

Between social reforms and revolution there exists for the social democracy an indissoluble tie. The struggle for reforms is its means; the social revolution, its aim.

Class struggle: external peace, international solidarity, peace among peoples. This is the sacred slogan of international socialist democracy that liberates nations.

My definition of democracy is -
A form and a method of Government whereby revolutionary changes in the social life are brought about without bloodshed.
That is the real test. It is perhaps the severest test. But when you are judging the quality of the material you must put it to the severest test.

Journalism is what maintains democracy. It's the force for progressive social change.
