Paul Duff had a decent day and A.J. Thompson is coming along.

Brian (Thompson) was a little uncomfortable out there throwing off the flat ground, and that helped account for all the walks we gave up. It's also the first game of the season, and we'll get better out on the mound. I saw some good things today from our pitchers and we'll improve on that.

It's coming along pretty well. I'm about 80 or 90 percent right now.

There's a lot of great cartoonists working, but I don't see too many people coming along who are of the 'where have you been all my life?' variety.

We're going to speed Duff up and get him some at-bats. We've just got to catch up a little bit.

This is our last good, decent shot. Financially this is a decent deal, but if they don't perform, it's coming down, it's just that simple.
