People act on fear a lot, and in fear there may be a financial impact. We don't want people going and buying generators when they should be out buying jeans.

Business cannot abdicate this responsibility. These are business events. They will affect the business. This can't be slid off onto IT.

We don't have to worry about product liability. No one has ever died from a pair of jeans -- that we know of.

It's really critical that we act on this in a new way. The issue of homelessness affects everybody, and it was important for everybody to be at the table to think about it.

The first thing is to not act on fear and the only way to do that is to talk about the issues and analyze what's going on, ... We also need to put a lot of pressure on our government and let them know that we don't believe that people being detained is legal or smart or will have any good, practical outcome.
